We truly enjoyed our dining experience tonight. Cool evening so we started with soup which was amazing and the bread went with it very well. The filets we ordered were cooked perfectly and larger portions than expected! Dessert and coffee were the perfect way to end our meal. Look forward to returning again soon!
Our meals were good but pricey. Service staff were well trained and attentive but appetizer and 4 entrees took nearly 2 hours. Would qualify this more as special date night type experience with more upscale fare. Believe it might appeal to more people if they step back a little and offer some more familiar and reasonable priced entrees. Atmosphere and decor are well done.
This was a great first visit to this great dining experience. The food was a wonderful addition to the view of the marina and the lake. Husband had the Trout and loved it. They served a wonderful tomato soup and to die for fried done in Truffle oil and Asiago cheese. We plan on returning to try dinner again or their Sunday Brunch.
First of all we had a party of 11 which meant we want to sit together. They put us in the banquet room where all the food and servers were, a very bland and generic area. I was expecting with all the new renovations that there would be some ambience even in the banquet room. The main area looked nice and I was expecting to be in there. You would think with all the money they spent they could’ve done a little more with the banquet room, plus they had two gigantic round tables put together, round tables so it was very uncomfortable seating. They should have long tables for big parties. The view was nice of the lake. The salad area had no sneeze guard everything was all open, which is very unsanitary. They did have an omelette bar which was nice and waffle bar area where they made them for you. I was not impressed with their food choices at all. Biscuits were hard the gravy was barely warm bacon was under cooked. The layout was very strange it look like everything just been thrown together. for the price of 1595+ they charged a surcharge on top of that which I did not appreciate and also cut down on the waitresses tips because the surcharge, I felt was excessive. We will probably give it another try in the lounge area for dinner to see if the food is any better. we had a party of 11 and most of us felt the same, too expensive, food was mediocre, ambience in the back room was not good, just a blank room with no decoration. It’s not someplace I would go to on a regular basis because it’s too far out and not impressed with the food or service, very disappointed to say the least
We took our business here for the Sunday Brunch Buffet, we were pleased. The food was good, especially the Salmon, hash brown casserole, and desserts. The fried chicken could have thicker breading and be more moist. The venue is fantastic as well, the view of the lake is beautiful, the indoor venue is modern, sleek, and comfortable. Logistically speaking, there is decent amount of parking and plenty of rooms to hold events. There is also a gazebo(it would be good for a wedding). I believe Bella Vista POA hit the nail on the head, Lakepoint restaurant and event center of Bella Vista is a fantastic venue, has great food, and is well run. I would recommend.
